Age Exception for Surf Camp with sign off!
Matty and I are always looking for ways to enhance our programs and provide exceptional experiences for our campers. After inquiries from our Aqualand families, we have given some thought to our age requirement for Surf Camp.
We recognize that we have all levels of junior watermen and we love working with various stages in the water!
We are happy to announce a special opportunity for the advanced graduates of our Bay Camp or Seal Training programs. If your 6 or 7 year old has completed either of these programs, shown surf readiness and has received approval from Matty or Sgt. Schooley (Chris), we will be making an age exception for them to attend our Surf Camp.
Readiness requirements will be based on ocean swim ability, outstanding behavior, ability to safely follow instructions and stay with the group, as well as prone paddling ability. Please work with us on this and do not force your 6/7 year old into Surf Camp if they aren’t ready. We want them to have a safe and fun summer and be ready to succeed. They may need more experience at Seal Training before moving on and that’s ok!

We will need a couple business days to coordinate with the City, so please communicate with us sooner than later.
